Description

The Links Shell Cove is a unique and picturesque golf course located in the Illawarra region on the South Coast of NSW, located just 1 ½ hours south of Sydney. It's a place of great natural beauty - stretching west from the picturesque coastline to rolling pastures, against the majestic backdrop of the Illawarra escarpment.

The Links Shell Cove is known for its friendly, inviting atmosphere and provides an enjoyable experience for golfers of all skill levels. The club has a range of high quality golfing facilities and services, including a picturesque 18-hole golf course, full fleet of electric carts fitted with GPS technology, a driving range with Toptracer digital ball-tracking technology, and a mini golf course.

In addition to the golf operations, The Links also boasts a fully licenced tavern and a newly established cafe/bar.

Based in the pro shop the role will provide quality customer service to members and visitors while representing the facility in a professional golfing capacity on a daily basis. The role will be required to assist the Golf Operations Manager in a range of duties to ensure the facility's golf operations are managed to a high standard. This position may require you to work outside of standard business hours including weekends on a rotating roster.

With multiple roles available working various shifts ranging from 5am to 7pm, Monday to Sunday with a range of duties including;

  • Pro shop operations and customer service duties including point of sale
  • Merchandising and stock control
  • Cleaning and maintenance of the pro shop
  • Cleaning and maintenance of cart fleet 
  • Mini golf course operation, cleaning and maintenance
  • Collection of golf balls from the driving range
  • Other duties as required
