Description

We are searching for a visionary and dedicated Head of Netball to lead our program and make a lasting impact on our students. If you have a passion for coaching and a love for the game, this is your chance to make a real impact and inspire our students.  

Reporting to the Director of Sport, you will support the School’s netball program with a focus on organising the structure and calendar of training, fixtures, and carnivals. Your primary role is to ensure efficient and organised fixturing, casual coach rostering, timesheet management, team selection, data entry, and administrative support aligning with the School’s strategic intentions. Additionally, you will be responsible for growing and improving the sports program for Netball by offering excellent coaching, coach and umpire support and programming.

This is a permanent, part-time (0.6 FTE) commencing in January 2025.  

Key Responsibilities 

  • Coordinate fixturing for all sports and activities within Netball ensuring smooth operation of training, fixtures, and carnivals.
  • Maintain high levels of student participation and performance in the Netball program.
  • Support HPE, Heads of Sport, and coaches to individually and collaboratively run programs that align with the sports vision statement and the sport development plan.
  • Liaise with Perth Netball Association and ACC as required in the management of the Netball Program for both players and umpires. 
  • Attend and manage Netball fixtures, including all Saturday games. 

About You

  • Bachelor's Degree in Sports Management, Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field (desirable). 
  • Relevant coaching certifications from recognised Netball associations.
  • Hold current Working with Children Check.
  • Hold a current police clearance dated within the last 6 months. 
  • Proof of Right to Work in Australia.
  • CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain). 
  • Respect the values, traditions and Anglican ethos of the School.
