North West Sydney Tennis (NWST) is one of the largest tennis Associations in New South Wales, situated in beautiful Pennant Hills Park.
NWST enjoys strong membership numbers, runs various competitions (at senior and junior levels) and has very active social tennis programs that accommodate all ages and standards.
NWST has 19 artificial grass courts spread over two locations, a clubhouse with high quality kitchen facilities, a manager’s office/ProShop, an Administrative Office, and a large open social area.
NWST has partnered with professional coaching providers at both our 16 court Pennant Hills Park centre and our 3-court centre at Epping, to encourage juniors and others seeking to learn &/or improve their tennis. There is also a state-of-the-art Rebo practice wall and an outdoor table tennis table for enjoyment by park and tennis centre patrons.
NWST is seeking to appoint a manager who will help oversee the tennis activities, management, promotion, and administration of the Club.
The role is a full-time salaried position and will require the person to adopt a ‘hands on’ approach to many of the functions and to be proactive in progressing the interests of NWST. There will be a need to work flexible hours that can accommodate the tennis and social activities of the Club, including some Saturday hours each month, overseeing the junior programmes. The person will need to effectively engage with members and other stakeholders. Sound IT skills and basic bookkeeping skills are required and an interest in and knowledge of tennis is essential.
