Football Victoria (FV) is currently seeking a Head Coach to join our High Performance & Pathways function, and to support the success of our emerging female youth programs. You will work within our junior girls programs (NTC, TIDC, and SAP) to assist in selection, player development, support, and team success.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Minimum accreditation required is a current or commenced an FFA/AFC ‘C’ Youth Licence or current UEFA equivalent
- At least 2 years experience in a coaching role
- Proven experience of working within an integrated program environment
- A thorough knowledge and understanding of the high performance requirements for players to aspire to and succeed at the highest level
- Proven leadership and decision-making skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, sound organisational and planning skills, complemented by attention to detail
- A passion for sporting achievement and a personal commitment to excellence
- An ability to contribute to the development of the team culture and environment
- A clear understanding of the requirements to achieve performance excellence
- An ability to work collaboratively with other coaches and support staff
- A commitment to the development and support of other coaches
These roles also require:
- A current Working with Children Check.
- Current driver’s license.
- This position regularly requires long hours and frequent weekend work and as such a preparedness to. work non-traditional hours and weekend work is required.
- Travel is primarily local during business days; some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.
The salary on offer is between $70,000 and $80,000 pa

Football Victoria (FV) is the governing body for football in Victoria.
We are recognised as the organisation responsible for the administration, promotion and delivery of football and futsal (indoor football) in the state by both the State and Federal Governments, as well as Football Australia (FA).
Our funding derives from membership and club affiliation fees, government grants and corporate sponsorship. Through the national body's affiliation with FIFA (Federation of International Football Associations), we look after everything football in Victoria including semi-professional ranks, amateurs, youth, referees, coaches, officials and volunteers. We currently call the Home of the Matildas/State Football Centre home in Bundoora, 25 minutes north of Melbourne CBD and have access to a state of the art facility, including an accessible gym and field amenities.
