THE OPPORTUNITY
To support the development of country basketball and ensure Basketball WA continues to provide the best environment for our members to participate in the sport, we are currently seeking to appoint a Development Officer for the Kimberley Region based in Broome.
Basketball WA has an expanding network of Regional Development Officers across Western Australia who are supported to grow the game across our State.

YOU
You will be responsible for the development of basketball across the Kimberley Region. The position will be based in Broome (where there is a SportsHouse office) and will cover our existing Associations in Broome, Derby, Ardyaloon and Kununurra, as well as expanding basketball’s reach into towns and remote communities throughout the region. The role will involve working closely with the significant aboriginal population in the Kimberley, so the applicant must be passionate about working with aboriginal communities and developing local aboriginal talent.
SALARY
Salary package negotiable.
