Sydney FC Foundation is the philanthropic heart of Sydney FC and emulates its core values. Our mission is to positively impact the lives of youth and our Sky Blue Community, now and into the future, one pass at a time. The successful candidate will work to achieve the Foundation’s objective of reaching 3,000 young people with a disability by June 2025 through its Sydney FC Empowers Me programs.

This role will require someone who can develop and deliver disability sports program in Sydney schools and local community venues. The role holder will also manage and build relationships with stakeholders including local schools, Football Associations, and partners of the Foundation.

To be considered for this role, you will have experience in delivering sports programs (preferably for disability groups), have the ability and desire to carry out a delivery based role that you also coordinate and administer, and the capacity to build strong relationships with stakeholders, including program participants and their families.

• Create and develop a disability sports curriculum that can be delivered across all of Sydney FC Empowers Me (disability sports) programs
• Coordination and delivery of Sydney FC Foundation Empowers Me school programs
• Coordination of Sydney FC Foundation Powerchair Football Community Program
• Coordination and delivery of Sydney FC Empowers Me community programs
• Coordination of causal coaches to support Sydney FC Empowers Me programs, where appropriate.
• Administration and data collection of all Sydney FC Foundation programs
• Liaise with and develop relationships with key stakeholders of Sydney FC Empowers Me programs, including but not limited to hired venues, schools, third party providers of activity.
• Lead on Sydney FC Foundation’s celebration of International Day of People with a Disability
• Creating and presenting regular reports on program’s progress and impact
• Assisting Programs and Partnerships Manager with identifying and applying for grant funding for Sydney FC Foundation programs
• Assisting with ad hoc tasks and projects as directed by Sydney FC Programs and Partnerships Manager
