About the Role

As the Lead Physiotherapist - Rehabilitation, you will:

  • Design, implement, and review comprehensive rehabilitation programs tailored to elite athletes, focusing on assessing and treating injuries, improving player fitness, and minimising injury-related downtime
  • Collaborate with the medical and high-performance teams to develop effective injury prevention strategies, ensuring the well-being and readiness of players.
  • Lead education initiatives for athletes on injury management and rehabilitation practices, fostering a culture of proactive health management.
  • Utilise your advanced data analysis skills to monitor rehabilitation progress and assess injury trends, contributing to informed decision-making.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A tertiary qualification in Applied Science (Physiotherapy) and a strong background in sports physiotherapy (postgraduate studies a plus!)
  • Proven experience working in elite sporting environments, with a solid understanding of strength and conditioning principles.
  • Adaptability and innovative thinking through the application of the latest techniques and creative solutions to improve rehabilitation practices and outcomes.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with a commitment to fostering collaborative and cross-functional relationships.
  • A passion for athlete care and a drive to deliver results in a high-performance setting.
