Reporting to the Commercial Partnerships Manager, this role will provide a high level of service and support to the Clubs corporate partners. The Commercial Partnership Executive will have a strong focus on developing and maintaining positive relationships with clients through regular and responsive communication and delivering upon results.

This role will work in the wider Commercial team under the direction of the Head of Commercial Operations to generate revenue through new commercial partnership opportunities as well as maximizing business opportunities for the club.

A day in the life of this role will include, but not limited to:

• Management of club partner accounts within a nominated portfolio including mid-tier and corporate partners across NRL, NRLW and community programs 
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with club partners & external stakeholders to meet partner expectations through regular and responsive communication including Work in Progress meetings and reports 
• Implement & manage a range of administrative duties related to delivery of sponsor benefits including branding, match day entitlements and activations, digital campaigns and ticketing or hospitality requirements
• Work alongside internal departments including match day, events, ticketing, digital and football to ensure all contracted deliverables are met 
• Maintain relationships with subsidiary providers whom provide direct benefit to the partnership portfolio (eg; KORE, Nielsen, Tradeable Bits, YouGov etc.) to ensure delivery across all commercial properties is in line with contractual inclusions 
• Assist with all Club event delivery including Business Club networking events and Game Day Hospitality
• Manage the digital and marketing campaign schedule for nominated partners across all Club digital assets 

Alongside the Commercial Partnership Manager, this role will also be responsible for: 

• The preparation of mid and end of season reports, proposals, evaluations and planning and strategy meetings with your partner portfolio 
• Establishing KPIs and objectives with each partner and ensure KPIs and objectives are met as per established timelines and criteria for success 
• Ensuring that all partnership renewals are aligned with the Club strategy and support the year on year growth of the Club commercial programs. 
• Ensuring that all partnerships being taken to market are consistent with the budgeted plans and the year on year growth projections. 

Please note this role will also be expected to provide general assistance to the wider commercial team where required across Club events and programs. The role also includes attendance at selected match days across the NRL and NRLW season outside of traditional business hours. 

Our Ideal Candidate

As a self-motivated individual, you will have a sound understanding of partnership management and the commercial sporting environment, with 2+ years’ experience that is backed by a degree in marketing, business, or sports management (tertiary qualification desirable, but not essential) 

With a results-driven approach, you are a friendly and dynamic individual, with a can-do attitude and a team first mentality. Digitally savvy, you have an ability to identify opportunities and leverage partnerships to meet commercial financial targets. 

The ideal candidate will also have: 

• Strong presentation and negotiation skills;
• Solid commercial acumen and proven workplace performance;
• Strong administration skills in MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel
• Demonstrated use of digital social platforms across scheduling and sales 
• Demonstrated use of previous CRM systems 

Due to the nature of the industry, the ideal candidate must be flexible in their availability as weekend work will be required for this role. This role be based on-site at the Sydney Roosters Centre of Excellent located at Allianz Stadium, Moore Park.
