Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Club Doctor to join our team, reporting directly to the Head of Medical Services. The ideal candidate will be passionate about sports medicine and committed to optimizing player health outcomes. You will play a vital role in our players' health care management, ensuring they perform at their best throughout the season. Earlier career practitioners may be suitable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Health Care Management: Oversee and manage the health care of players, ensuring comprehensive medical support throughout the season.
• Optimising Player Health Outcomes: Develop and implement health programs and strategies aimed at improving player performance and maximising player wellness.
• Concussion Management: Lead the management of concussion protocols, ensuring the safety and well-being of all players.
• Medical Issue Management: Address and manage a wide range of medical issues that may arise during training and games.
• Imaging Referral: Coordinate necessary imaging referrals to ensure timely diagnosis and treatment of injuries. • Orthopaedic Referral: Liaise with orthopaedic specialists for advanced care when needed.
• Reporting: Regularly report to the Head of Medical Services regarding player health status, injury management, and treatment plans.

Qualifications:

• Medical degree and registration with AHPRA.
• Interest in sports medicine or related fields.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a high-performing medical team.
• Passion for football and a commitment to player health and safety.
