So what's the role all about?

As a Sales Representative at 6th Man Basketball, your primary focus will be building relationships with new basketball clubs and teams, helping them wear Nike gear on and off the court. You will represent the Nike Basketball Teamwear range, collaborating with clubs to understand their needs and ensuring they are outfitted in top-tier gear that strengthens their identity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and engage with new clubs and associations, introducing them to our exclusive Nike Basketball Teamwear range.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clubs, focusing on getting them outfitted in Nike gear both for games and off-court activities.
  • Work with clubs to understand their needs, guiding them through the process of selecting, customising, and ordering Nike apparel for their club.
  • Actively promote Nike's brand and product offerings, ensuring a high level of passion and product knowledge.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless order management and fulfillment for club uniforms and merchandise.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets by driving new business and expanding existing accounts.

The perfect candidate?

  • Passionate about basketball and the Nike brand.
  • Experience in sales (wholesale, retail, or both) is essential.
  • Connections within the basketball community or involvement with clubs and associations will be highly regarded.
  • Strong interpersonal skills – you're personable, approachable, and skilled in building lasting relationships.
  • A proactive self-starter who is motivated by achieving results and growing the business.
  • Full-time and the ability to work on-site at our Port Melbourne location.
