About the role
In collaboration with the Head of Secondary School Sport, you will be responsible for the leadership, development, administration, and growth of Netball at Redlands (Yr 7-12). Redlands has an extensive and ambitious Sports Coaching Framework which aims to ethically advance every student, though the development of a Coaching Framework as we map the sporting journey from Year 7 to year 12.
Director of Netball will engage coaches in a multifaceted process of continuing education, practical experience and interactive reflection ensuring coaches are empowered with the tools to help teams perform at their best regardless of the ability level.
The role will also be responsible for strategic planning, budgeting, and administrative activities alongside the logistical requirements of running the various competitions, school holiday programs and recruitment processed for coaching staff within the Redlands Netball Program.
This position is part-time (0.6 FTE) working 45 weeks per year with an in-season / off-season work schedule.
About you
We are looking for someone with experience of managing coaches and coordinating sporting programs in a school environment. You must have a sound knowledge of the Netball sport, as well as a current First Aid Certificate and an unrestricted Driving License. A Level 2 coaching accreditation would be highly desirable.
The successful candidate will be an effective team member with excellent people and relationship management skills, who demonstrates a willingness to support the ethos and values of the School.
The successful applicant will also have or be willing to obtain a paid NSW Working With Children Check.
