Handball Australia, the National Sports Organisation for Handball, is seeking Expression of Interests from suitably qualified persons to provide their services for the;
- Review of Financial Report or
- Audit of Financial Report
The Australian Handball Federation Limited is registered under Australian Securities and Investment Commission (ASIC) and is a Small Company Limited by Guarantee, classified as a Tier 1 organisation in accordance with Section 45B of the Corporations Act 2001.
A Specific Purpose Financial Report is currently prepared for Members that, under ASIC requirements, is only required to be reviewed.
Handball Australia is positioning itself and its activities for growth in the medium term that may impact the ASIC Classification and requirements in regard to the Financial Report.
A Reviewer of the Financial Report need not be a Registered Company Auditor (RCA) however, will need to be a current member and hold a practising certificate issued by;
- Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand
- CPA Australia or
- the Institute of Public Accountants
An Auditor must hold current registration with ASIC as an RCA.
Handball Australia uses Xero Accounting Software platform.
