Manly Warringah Sea Eagles Pty Ltd are a Professional Rugby League Football Club delivering high-performance excellence since 1947. With a mounting NRL Season 2025 ahead, based at the state-of-the-art Centre of Excellence at 4 Pines Park, Brookvale, Manly Warringah Sea Eagles have an exciting opportunity for a Venue and Game Day Manager to join our team.
The Venue and Game Day Manager will report to the Head of Operations and Events, to lead the 4 Pines Park Operations on NRL Game Days.
The role will manage external stakeholder relationships, including Local Goverment relations, Venue Contractors, Media & Broadcast as well as any NRL venue requirements.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Venue Operational Plan of Management, Club and Stakeholder Briefings, Inductions and Resourcing
- Emergency & Risk Management Plans, Licensing Plans and their applications
- Venue Maintenance Reports, Safety Procedures & Governance
- Master Delivery Schedules, NRL Accreditation and Venue Parking
- Venue Game Day Budget
- Assistance with in-venue Ticketing, Precinct and Commercial Partnership Activations
- NRL Briefings and delivery compliance
We are looking for an individual that has an ability to adapt to all levels of business administration, is highly organised with an operational mindset but can also bring that creative flare. Demonstration of excellent communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to work independently is key. The candidate will conduct their role in a professional and ethical manner, pose strong decision-making skills and be a star at thinking on their feet.
Essential Criteria:
- Venue or Event Management or relative industry tertiary education.
- Experience with Local Government policies and application processes, Plans of Management, Risk and EMP Management.
- 4-5 years minimum industry experience managing live events, large-scale sites or venues.
Operating as a key member of a small team in a fast-paced professional sporting club, the role requires a ‘can do’ attitude and resilience; the candidate must work well in a highly pressurised environment and be humble to assist at grass root level.
The role will involve primarily office-based work as well as some weekend and out-of-hours duties for Match Days that comes naturally with working in professional sport. Additional travel is not required.
It is a Part-Time, 3 days per week plus 12 x 4 Pines Park NRL Home Games per season. Flexibility and hours can fit to suit the individual.
