Description

Purpose

The Membership & Ticketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Customer Engagement Manager to facilitate all membership and ticketing functions within the business.

This includes but is not limited to coordinating day-to-day membership administration requirements, ensuring all home game tickets are available for public sale, ensuring all ticketing entitlements and requests are delivered (for staff, players and sponsors) and facilitating outbound sales campaigns.

In addition, the role plays a key part in working with ACT Brumbies' membership partners (TPF and Ticketmaster), ensuring membership renewals and sales run successfully, managing communications with ACT Brumbies' membership base, supporting marketing strategies to increase membership retention and overall numbers and representing the club at membership events and game days.

Key Accountabilities

Membership

  • Support the delivery of a high quality membership program with a focus on value and member satisfaction
  • Assist the Customer Engagement Manager and ACT Brumbies stakeholders with the end-to-end membership build process to ensure the following years membership renewals open in October of each year (at the latest)
  • Update and maintain the membership database and ensure a high level of data integrity
  • Recover outstanding membership payments and resolve account issues with regard to billing
  • Manage communications and relationships with the ACT Brumbies membership base via outbound and inbound calls, email, SMS and in person
  • Contribute to innovative thinking with regard to membership products, services, communications and promotions
  • Assist with the planning and implementation of fan and member only events
  • Support the Customer Engagement Manager with relationship management with key ticketing, membership and fulfillment suppliers
  • Support and drive membership growth through outbound sales campaigns and in person promotional activity
  • Assist with maintaining the internship program and casual staff

Ticketing

  • Assist the Customer Engagement Manager with the public ticketing build for all ACT Brumbies home games
  • Ensure match day ticketing needs are met for members, sponsors, marketing and team members
  • Assist with the management of the box office for all ACT Brumbies home games (including trials, regular season and finals)
  • Assist with the management of gates for John I Dent Cup finals games as well as other ACT Brumbies events
  • Provide the Customer Engagement Manager and Head of Marketing & Consumer with ad hoc reports

Marketing

  • Create ad hoc outbound email communications for members
  • Assist with the promotion of membership and ticketing
  • Conduct market research for best practice membership and ticketing
  • Other duties as required

Capabilities, Experience & Qualification Requirements

  • Appropriate tertiary degree or relevant experience
  • Experience coordinating membership programs and event ticketing at stadiums
  • Ideally some ticketing system knowledge
  • Good organisational skills
  • Available on game days
  • Ability to resolve issues internally and externally at all levels
  • Financial budget experience
  • Process driven with superior attention to detail
  • Self-starter with a proactive attitude
  • People management experience with a demonstrated ability to maintain relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders
