The Participation Officer is responsible for all outbound participation programs (community, schools, inclusion, school holiday participation programs) and first-experience programs, including Aussie Hoops.

Outbound

• Manage all community programs, including school programs, holiday camps, community programs and Local Government Area (LGA) activations.
• Oversee and drive the Ngalak indigenous program and initiatives.
• Oversee the PBA Inclusion program, including the training and development of appropriate coaches.

First experience programs

• Manage all first experience programs, including Aussie Hoops.

Human Resource Management

• Develop and oversee a casual coach database and scheduling system.
• Ensure all community coaches for PBA programs are appropriately upskilled.

General duties

• Manage the “PBA Experience” as the first point of contact for current and potential members.
• Answer the PBA administration email and office phone during normal operating hours or during PBA event/program days.
• Liaise with Basketball WA on general enquiries.
• Ensure all PBA Participation initiatives represent the PBA brand and strategic vision.
• Liaise with Basketball WA as required from time to time.
• Ensure the PBA Participation programs are delivered within budget.
