We are responsible for the highly regarded Queensland Firebirds, the ever-growing participation and delivery of netball in our Queensland communities and the management of our $45 million state of the art venue, Nissan Arena.

The Opportunity

The Tribunal Panel Members will be responsible for ensuring that complaints, grievances and disputes within the jurisdiction of Netball Queensland (and its Member Associations) are resolved utilising a robust independent disciplinary procedure so that all matters can be dealt with impartially, independently, with certainty and in an expeditious manner.  

The Tribunal Panel Members will support Netball’s Integrity Framework and cover key integrity policies, such as:

  • Codes of Conduct
  • Member Protection Policy
  • Safeguarding Children and Young People Policy

Tribunal Panel Members will play a central role in the provision of these services, forming a diverse panel of independent arbitrators, mediators, legal and subject matter experts to be called upon on a case-by-case basis across the netball calendar.

About You

We are seeking volunteers with experience or skills suitable to the function of an integrity body, including:

  • Barrister or solicitor
  • Investigations manager
  • Sports administrator
  • Integrity expert
  • Thorough knowledge of netball, OR other sporting environments
