About the Position:
NSWRL is seeking applications for the position of League & Club Support Coordinator within our Football Department.
This position is responsible for building capacity in clubs, leagues, schools and communities to ensure the efficient operational delivery of Community Rugby League. The position is responsible for the creation of an environment for players of all ages and abilities to enjoy the game, and growth in participation numbers.
The position will work within the Riverina competitions servicing Group 20 and Group 9 and will be based at the NSWRL Offices at the Equex Centre, Wagga Wagga.
Major responsibilities include:
- Assist in the development of all relevant Club and League plans (strategic, operational, facilities).
- Support the smooth running of competitions which includes structures, draws and game day operations;
- Supporting and assisting with rugby league development and promotional activities;
- Supporting judiciary and tribunal processes;
- Ensuring league and club compliance with NSWRL policies, rules and regulations.
About You:
The successful candidate will:
- A passion and sound understanding of Rugby League, with knowledge at club, player and coach level;
- Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to build relationships across diverse stakeholders;
- A demonstrated ability to apply a firm and consistent approach;
- Exceptional conflict resolution and negotiation skills;
- Strong computer skills across Microsoft Offices;
- A current NSW Drivers Licence and Working with Children Check.
Consistent with the nature of the sporting industry, the successful candidate must be flexible and willing to work weekends, evenings and reasonable additional hours as is required to fulfil the requirements of this position. Remuneration is set in recognition of this requirement.
