Flemington Junior Football Club (FJFC) is seeking expressions of interest for the following position available for the 2025 season:
As our junior girls football program continues to grow, we are looking for enthusiastic and experienced individuals who are passionate about contributing to the success and development of our football club located at JJ Holland Park, Kensington 3031.
The Junior Girls Coordinator aligns with the clubs values to the on-going success of female football programs, ensuring they are well planned, well resources and run in an efficient and effective way.
They play a key role in promoting the desired culture, values and behaviours amongst Club members (and related groups) to ensure that the participation of females in football is sustainable in the longer term.
Key Objectives:
- Be the first point of contact for all things relating to the growth and development of the Girls program and players.
- Actively recruit and retain players for our Girls program at FJFC.
- Develop and implement a plan to drive girls football growth in;
- Female player development
- Female player support
- Identifying development opportunities
- Provide strong and positive leadership in alignment with the club’s values and code of conduct.
Successful Applicants Will Demonstrate:
- Ability to implement player development and behavioural standards at both the team and individual levels.
- Strong communication skills.
- Have a passion and advocate for Girls football
- Hold a current Working With Children check.
The position of Junior Girls Coordinator interacts directly with all levels of the FJFC Committee, ensuring that fluid communication is maintained between the Committee with the goal of always making sure that equity is maintained between the male and female programs at FJFC and this involves ensuring the club is inclusive of the girls and gender diverse players. Attending all committee meetings is not required however feedback and/or report will be required.
