THE ROLE

We are looking for 3 Sports Co-Ordinators to join our dynamic Sports Team. 

The Sports Coordinator will have the responsibility of the efficient and effective operation of three (3) to four (4) designated sporting programs from Prep to Year 12 at St Aidan’s. Sports allocated to the Coordinators will be dependent on the experience, interest and qualifications of the individual as well as the scheduling of sports.

These positions offer flexible work arrangements of 38 hours per week that is dependent upon specific sport program’s training sessions, fixtures and school holiday training (if required).

This is a Full-Time, term time plus 5 weeks during the school holidays position.

Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinate and facilitate all fixtures (including QGSSSA, Andrew’s Cup and Club sports) and compilation of results.
• Liaise with the Head of Sport, the Administration Officer - Sport, other Sport Co-ordinators to ensure the effective delivery of the sport program.
• Assist the Head of Sport to recruit and retain coaches with the necessary skills, qualifications, and experience to assist with the delivery of the sport program.

EXPERIENCE AND/OR QUALIFICATIONS

• Management and coaching experience of sport/s (preferred). 
• Relevant experience in operational and/or organisational roles.  
• Experience in an all-girls’ school setting (desirable).
• An ability to hold a Working with Children - Blue Card as issued by the Queensland Government
• An ability to hold a current Senior First Aid and CPR Certificate.
