Description

Sydney FC is seeking an organised and proactive Partnership & Corporate Coordinator to support the growth of our corporate hospitality and partnership programs. This role will assist in developing and managing strategic partnerships, ensuring smooth operations on match days, and maximising the value of our commercial assets.

Key Responsibilities:

Partnership Sales & Business Development Support:

  • Assist in identifying, targeting, and acquiring new corporate partners for Sydney FC’s corporate hospitality program, Business Club, and commercial assets.
  • Support the development and implementation of strategic plans to grow Sydney FC’s corporate client base, with a strong focus on partnership sales.
  • Help leverage existing personal networks to generate leads and contribute to long-term partnership development.

Corporate Hospitality Program Management Support:

  • Assist in managing Sydney FC’s corporate hospitality offerings on match days, including the Sky Blue Lounge, private suites, and outdoor boxes, ensuring a seamless and high-quality experience for clients.
  • Coordinate with Allianz Stadium to ensure the delivery of a premium matchday experience for corporate clients and partners.
  • Oversee the admin around partner deliveries on match days, including ticketing, boxes, suites, and Sky Blue Lounge access.
  • Support the set-up of the Sky Blue Lounges and boxes for match day, ensuring a high standard of presentation and service.

Business Club Support & Growth:

  • Assist in the development and continuous improvement of Sydney FC’s Business Club, enhancing its position as a leading business networking platform in Australian sport.
  • Help create new offers, benefits, and experiences to increase the appeal and value of the Business Club for members.

Event Management & Partner Engagement:

  • Provide support in the planning and execution of Business Club networking events, ensuring partners maximise the value of their investment.
  • Assist in building and maintaining strong relationships with all corporate partners, providing tailored support to ensure satisfaction and the renewal of deals.

Commercial Inventory & Revenue Maximisation Support:

  • Help support the sales strategy for all of Sydney FC’s available commercial inventory, ensuring consistent occupancy and utilisation of corporate hospitality assets.
  • Assist in developing innovative sales assets that increase the value of Sydney FC’s commercial offerings and attract new corporate clients.

Revenue Generation & New Commercial Streams Support:

  • Help identify and explore new commercial revenue streams, working with internal teams to create unique offerings that align with the club’s goals.
  • Assist in creating and pitching compelling partnership proposals to demonstrate the value of Sydney FC’s platform for brand exposure and engagement.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in partnership sales, business development, or corporate hospitality sales, preferably within sports, entertainment, or events industries.
  • A strong interest in sports and corporate hospitality, with the ability to support the coordination and execution of high-quality experiences.
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with corporate partners and internal teams.
  • Ability to innovate and support new commercial opportunities, enhancing existing programs and developing new revenue streams.
  • A passion for football and a deep understanding of the sports industry.
