Description

The Queensland Reds Property Officer will support the Queensland Rugby Union’s professional programs (Queensland Reds Men’s, Women’s and Academy programs) by managing all aspects of property, equipment and uniform to an elite standard.

Key Accountabilities

Queensland Reds Men’s Programs

  • Yearly/Seasonally:
    • Receive, sort and distribute apparel and equipment
    • Provide forecasting/planning input for apparel and equipment orders (based on the program needs) which are placed by the Team Manager
  • Daily:
    • Set up the equipment and hydration needs for training sessions
    • Manage and distribute the facility's towels for physio and training sessions as well as players
  • Weekly/Campaign Specific (Super Rugby, trial and tour matches):
    • Prepare game day equipment requirements for all matches
    • Set up the changeroom and all game day equipment and hydration needs for all matches
    • Attend all matches
    • Launder all game day uniforms
  • General:
    • Maintain and clean all team equipment, (e.g. hydration equipment)

Queensland Reds Women’s and Academy Programs

  • Yearly/Seasonally:
    • Receive, sort and distribute apparel and equipment
    • Provide forecasting/planning input for apparel and equipment orders (based on the programs' needs) which are placed by the Team Manager
  • Daily:
    • Manage and provide training equipment and consumables, (e.g. hydration)
  • Weekly/Campaign-Specific:
    • Support team managers with the preparation of game day equipment
    • Support team managers with laundry needs for game day uniforms
    • Maintain and clean all team equipment, (e.g. hydration equipment)

Other

  • Provide other day-to-day logistical support

Capabilities, Experience and Qualification Requirements

  • Previous experience in a multidisciplinary high performance team environment
  • Highly motivated with the ability to work autonomously and meet timelines
  • Ability to travel nationally and internationally
  • Ability to commit to irregular working hours including weekends
  • Strong IT and organisational skills
