We’re on the lookout for enthusiastic Sports Coaches with a love of cricket to provide amazing coaching experiences for people of all ages at Y Leisure City in Epping. This role will primarily coach cricket, with opportunities to coach other sports including soccer and basketball. Enjoy being part of a dynamic and supportive team environment, with opportunities to explore other work areas at our leisure centre like customer service, gymnastics or party hosting. Plus, you’ll get free access to our 24/7 on site gym!

This is a casual position that requires availability to work Monday evenings to support our cricket program. Ideally, you will have some previous sports coaching experience in basketball or soccer, and experience playing or coaching cricket.  

Have a strong sports background and cricket experience but haven’t coached before? No problem! We're looking for coaches of all levels (Junior through to Senior) and still encourage you to apply if you think you’d be a good fit.

Some of the key duties of this role will include:

• Deliver cricket and other sports coaching according to the programs.
• Assist in delivering quality programs and a fun and supportive experience for participants.
• Assisting with set up/pack up of equipment.
• Being friendly, approachable, and helpful to all students and their parents/guardians where applicable.

What do we hope you'll bring?

• Legal right to live and work in Australia.
• Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) and National Police Check (or willing to obtain).
• International Police check if you have lived outside Australia in the last 5 years.
• A passion for cricket and experience playing/competing.
• Experience as a sports coach, ideally in cricket, basketball or soccer.
• A fun, positive and supportive demeanour.
• Availability to work on Monday evenings.
• The ability to deal with patrons of all ages, cultures and abilities.
