Description

To deliver the Physical Performance program for the Colts playing group at Easts Rugby, in conjunction with the Head of Physical Performance.

Helping players develop their physical strength and conditioning to improve performance.

  • Coordinate and deliver the physical performance program for Easts Colts during preseason and during the competition period.
  • Set and manage the monitoring of player workload and benchmarking.
  • Continually monitor player size, strengths, and conditioning throughout the season, with the aim of adding and maintaining weight and strength.
  • Lead all training during preseason and regular season on face-to-face basis.
  • Lead all match days, running player warmups and cool downs and assisting the coaching staff with player development.
  • Contribute to the broader Physical Performance Program at Easts Rugby as required.

Key requirements

  • Relevant high-level accreditation in physical performance. (ASCA).
  • Bachelor of ESC preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of pathways and development programs.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills and the ability to multitask
  • Collaborative and empathetic personality with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and deliver to specified timelines
