As the Senior Marketing Manager for Speedo across Australia and New Zealand, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, revenue growth, and customer engagement.
This role will primarily focus on wholesale, retail, and online marketing initiatives while aligning with the overall budget. You will also be responsible for delivering strategies to maximise the return on investment in Speedo extensive sponsorships programme including the Australian Olympic and Paralympic teams and high-profile athlete ambassadors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with the Speedo Brand Manager and company's overall goals and objectives.
- Develop and execute Trade Marketing plans to support the wholesale and retail channels, driving brand awareness, and sales growth.
- Lead all online marketing efforts.
- Ensure efficient and maximized contracts for the Speedo sponsorship program, overseeing its delivery for the benefit of the entire business.
- Implement strategies to optimize ROI from Speedo sponsorships and foster strong relationships with sponsor partners for optimal outcomes.
- Develop marketing budgets and effectively allocate resources to achieve objectives and maximize ROI.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a senior marketing role, preferably within the retail or sports industry.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of wholesale, retail, and online marketing strategies.
- Demonstrable experience in social media management and engagement.
- Sports Marketing and working with ambassadors and sports events advantage.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven marketing decisions.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Clear understanding of usage and implementation of a Marketing Calendar and budget
- Able to work to deadlines and under pressure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to think outside the square when dealing with problems.
- Able to successfully work and contribute to a dynamic team environment.
- Develop innovative ideas leading to continuous improvement.
