Are you passionate about basketball and driven by delivering exceptional customer service? AUSA Facilities is seeking a Membership Consultant to join our dynamic team. If you're a university student or recent graduate looking for flexible work hours, career growth opportunities, and a chance to work in a thriving sports environment, this is the role for you!

This role has commission-based pay on top of the Fitness Industry Award Rates.

As a Front Desk Sales Associate, you will be the welcoming face of AUSA, engaging with members, assisting with inquiries, and ensuring our facilities are operating smoothly. This role offers you the opportunity to build relationships with our members, handle sales, and be a key player in enriching the Australian basketball community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales: Your primary responsibility will be sales tours, following up leads, offering other services to existing members.
  • Customer Service: Welcome members with a positive attitude, manage Point of Sale (POS) operations, look after the front desk. You will only handle basic customer service inquiries, all major inquiries will be passed to our customer service team.
  • Gathering Feedback: Actively gather feedback from members and communicate key insights to the rest of the team.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong passion for basketball and sports in general.
  • Prior sales experience is ideal! (but any work experience is a big positive)
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with members and their families.
  • Reliable, trustworthy, and capable of independent problem-solving.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in handling basic administrative tasks.
  • A background either coaching or playing is a plus but not 100% necessary.
  • Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming facility environment.
