We are seeking a Diving Head Coach to lead and coordinate MLC’s Year 7–12 Girls' Sport Victoria (GSV) Diving Program during Term 1. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and guide young athletes in a vibrant, inclusive, and supportive sporting community.

Some of your primary duties and responsibilities will include the following:

  • Oversee and manage the MLC Diving Team training sessions.
  • Design and deliver training programs and implement a fair selection process for team composition.
  • Mentor and support casual diving coaches, contributing to their professional growth.
  • Coordinate dive selection and prepare the team for GSV competitions.
  • Attend and assist the team during all competitions, ensuring a positive and high-performing environment.

About you

  • Proven experience as a diving coach or athlete.
  • Strong leadership and motivational capabilities with diverse teams.
  • A passion for sport, healthy lifestyles, and the development of youth athletes.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Understanding of Victorian Child Safe Standards.
  • A current Working with Children Check and Police Check.
  • Open to ideas, striving for excellence, and demonstrating a high level of integrity.
