What You'll Do
The objective of the Customer Growth Executive is to help NBL Clubs attract new audiences and grow their fan base.
In this role, you will:
Fan Experience & Strategy
- Lead research and implementation of global best practices in fan engagement across NBL clubs
- Deliver quarterly recommendations to enhance fan experience based on international trends
- Design and execute data-driven initiatives to convert basketball fans into NBL supporters
Audience Development
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive customer segmentation model
- Build and manage a centralized repository of actionable customer insights
- Identify engagement barriers for casual fans and implement solutions with clubs
- Create and launch new products targeting casual fans, with specific performance targets
Partnerships & Data Growth
- Establish strategic partnerships with measurable objectives to accelerate fan acquisition
- Collaborate with Digital Marketing to execute fan data capture initiatives
- Work with Commercial teams to develop and implement data acquisition strategies
- Partner with clubs to implement targeted engagement strategies
What You Bring
Essential Experience:
- Experience in a similar role, with a proven track record in audience growth and customer acquisition
- Demonstrated success in growing customer bases with measurable results
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Excellence in stakeholder management and presentation skills
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience in a sports league or club environment
- Understanding of the Australian sporting landscape
- Experience with customer data platforms and analytics tools
