The Western Football Netball League (WFNL) has developed a position of considerable standing in the delivery of community sport. The WFNL consists of 34 Member Clubs, 370 football and netball teams, 8,500 registered players and 450 Umpires that participate in our Open Age and Junior football and netball competitions.
At the WFNL, we possess an appetite and energy to be bold, fresh, and fiercely ‘can do’, and are driven to enhance our community through the growth of football and netball.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated self-starter to join our team as the Club Development Lead (“CDL”). The AFL Victoria supported WFNL CDL will work collaboratively with our Member Clubs to help make it easier for local Club volunteers to have self-sustainable quality practices in place that lead to consistent quality experiences for all people connected to local Clubs across our League.
The role requires a willingness and ability to establish and maintain strong collaborative working relationships with clubs and other key stakeholders.
We estimate that over 250,000 volunteer hours were contributed to the 2024 season to make our competitions possible, underscoring the integral role of football and netball in the fabric of our community.
