Tennis Victoria (TV) is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Profile & Partnerships to join our senior leadership team. In this role, you will work closely with the CEO to drive participation and competition in tennis across Victoria. Your focus will be on ensuring tennis is accessible and promoted to the wider community, with an emphasis on marketing communications, data management, and insights. You will lead the development of insight-led strategies, product innovation, and decision-making processes, while overseeing Tennis Victoria's events and acting as the guardian of our brand. As a collaborative and proactive leader, you will provide strong direction across the organization and play a pivotal role in driving and delivering Tennis Victoria's Partnerships Plan, fostering mutually beneficial relationships for the future.
In this role you will:
- Support the implementation of the TV strategy to 2027 (and development of new strategies beyond this) with a focus on communicating and promoting tennis and its complementary disciplines as a sport for all.
- Lead the Profile pillar of the TV strategy to 2027 and a committed team delivering on the key projects within this pillar and supporting the other key pillars of the strategy.
- Lead the development and delivery of a communications strategy that supports delivery of the Tennis Victoria strategy.
- Ensure Tennis Victoria's communications reach every aspect of Victorian life - building and using diverse and inclusive strategies and delivery channels.
- Lead the use of digital communications to drive participation across Victoria.
- Build events management capacity within the TV team to enhance the participant experience of TV's corporate events, tournaments and competitions whilst also driving efficiencies across event planning and delivery.
- Lead and manage the Profile and Partnerships team achieving KPIs and building a positive collaborative culture that ensures work is integrated across the whole organisation.
- Drive the Partnerships plan and diversifying revenue streams for Tennis Victoria whilst leveraging TV assets.
- Support the CEO in the wider leadership of, and planning for, Tennis Victoria as an active member of the TV Executive Team.
About you
What you will bring to the role:
- Extensive experience in marketing and communications and publicity, preferably in a sporting environment.
- High level experience in the full range of marketing, digital, copy and content development, public relations, and communications projects.
- Excellent written and communications skills, with a high level of proficiency in content writing and ability to write to a high standard.
- Demonstrated understanding of emerging brand and marketing trends including developments in new media.
- Experience with WordPress CMS, Airtable, Workday, Microsoft Office Suite, and Microsoft 360 Dynamics (desirable).
- You must hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check.
