We’re looking for a passionate and driven Learn to Swim Coordinator to lead our Learn to Swim Program at the UWA Aquatic Centre. As our Learn to Swim Coordinator, you’ll play a pivotal role in creating a safe, fun, and high-quality environment where participants of all ages can develop essential swimming skills. In this role, you’ll also support the smooth operation of the UWA Aquatic Centre, with a strong focus on safety, compliance, and operational excellence.
About You
You’re a leader with a solid understanding of aquatic methodologies and the ability to assess and develop swimming skills through the program.
With experience coordinating teams, you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a proven track record in staff management - ideally in a Learn to Swim setting.
You’re a pro at customer relationship management and conflict resolution, ensuring every interaction is positive and productive.
Essential Skills
Relevant degree and/or significant experience within education or sport and recreation.
Swim Teaching Certificate.
National Police Clearance.
Working with Children Check.
First Aid Certificate including CPR
