About the Role

Reporting to the Team Leader - Sport, the Student Sport Coordinator assists with the planning and operation of student sport events and activations run by UCX working in a small team to ensure a high-quality sporting experience for students including participation sport on campus, intervarsity competitions and UC’s involvement in UniSport Nationals.

Some of the key tasks within the role include the following:

• Coordinate planning of the Social Sport program
• Work with other student-facing arms of UC and UCX to develop sport event and activations
• Assist in coordination of logistical and operational administration of UniSport events
• Facilitate the development and delivery of intervarsity sporting events
• Assist with any administrative requirements relating to the Elite Athlete Program

About You

We are looking for someone enthusiastic who is keen to enhance the student sporting experience for UC students through creating fun and engaging activities! Our ideal candidate is highly organised and able to work independently and in a team, and has outstanding relationship management skills, relevant sports administration experience, and exemplary written and oral communication skills.
