Guildford Grammar School is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Australian Rules Football Coach’s to be involved with our Year 10’s/11’s teams for the Winter 2025 season. The ideal candidate will possess strong qualifications and experience in Australian Rules Football, with a commitment to developing our players both on and off the field. Level 2/Silver accreditation preferred but not essential.

If you are passionate about football and dedicated to developing young athletes, we would love to hear from you! Please submit a short cover letter outlining your experience both playing and coaching, along with a current resume that includes details of three current referees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coach and mentor the Year 10’s/11’s teams during training sessions and matches.
• Develop and implement training plans tailored to the skill levels of Year 10/11 students.
• Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and a positive football culture leaving behind a legacy in the Guildford Grammar Football program.
• Work closely with the Head of Football to support talented players in achieving both team and individual success.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during training and fixtures.

Training Schedule:

• Tuesday and Thursday, 3:30 PM - 5:30 PM

Fixture Schedule:

• Saturday mornings

About you:

• Strong knowledge of Australian Rules Football and proven coaching techniques.
• Level 2/Silver accreditation preferred but not essential.
• Ability to inspire and motivate young athletes.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive sporting environment.
• The right to work in Australia.
• Police Check (dated within the last 6 months).
• Current Working with Children Check.
• Previous coaching experience preferred.
• Ability to build rapport with students and colleagues within the Sports Department and across the School.
