Melbourne United are one of ten basketball clubs that form the National Basketball League (NBL) competition. You may formerly know them as their debut name to the league in 1984 as the Melbourne Tigers, until the club was reborn to Melbourne United in 2014.

About the Opportunity:
We are seeking an energetic and passionate individual to coordinate and implement our Academy and the School Partnership program, driving community involvement and engagement with Melbourne United Basketball Club.
- Coordinate Melbourne United Basketball Academy, Coaches Academy, and the School Partnership program, including athlete and parent communication, program delivery, and continuous program enhancement
- Develop and implement community engagement initiatives, create promotional materials, and represent the club at schools and community events
- Manage program logistics, maintain coach compliance records, and support game day activities
- Organise stakeholder communications, handle event planning, and identify opportunities to improve club engagement
About You:
- 1-2 years in sports, community engagement, or program coordination
- Proven experience working with schools or community initiatives
- High energy and positive attitude
- Excellent administration and communication skills
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
- Intermediate MS Office proficiency
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Public speaking capabilities
- Flexibility to work weekends and evenings
