The Participation Officer is responsible for driving the administration of Australian Taekwondo’s participation programs including those initiatives developed under the Australian Sports Commission’s PlayWell strategy. The role plays a key part in Australian Taekwondo’s goal to get more people participating in Taekwondo and providing opportunities to those already involved in the sport to develop their skills. Key Responsibilities include:
Sporting Schools
Coordinate AT’s Sporting Schools program including managing bookings, providing assistance to schools and clubs and handling relevant inquiries.
Liaise with the ASC around developments to the Sporting Schools program.
Participation Programs
Provide administrative support to AT’s PlayWell initiatives to get more people participating in Taekwondo.
Coaching
Admin assistance to AT’s Coach education and recruitment initiatives.
Manage all accreditation frameworks, courses, and administration.
Officiating
Admin assistance to AT’s Referee education and recruitment initiatives.
Manage all accreditation frameworks, courses, and administration.
General Administration
Provide administrative assistance across all AT activities and departments as required.

The location for the successful candidate can be flexible upon negotiation, however ACT-based is preferred.
