Easts Football Club, established in 1989, is a local, inclusive community club delivering a fun, competitive football experience underpinned by a strong training and development philosophy. We offer year round football programs for players aged 3 years to over 45 years, both male and female. The Club prides itself on its strong development philosophy and its ability to create an inclusive environment for all members, connecting players and families both on and off the pitch. As one of the largest not for profit community football clubs in New South Wales, we are based in the heart of the Eastern Suburbs.
We are looking for an experienced football coach and organiser to work alongside our existing operations staff along with our and part time coaching staff. This is a full time position that will consist of coaching a variety of youth and mini’s teams as well as organising and supervising our coaching network. Reporting to our Technical Director and Club Executive, you will play an important role in the day to day and long term objectives of the club.
Start date: February 2025 (or prior based on discussion).
Hours per week: Full time. Weekday and weekend hours required year round.
Salary: Full time position. Gross including Superannuation (negotiable based on applicant).
Location: Sydney's Eastern Suburbs - not exclusive to Waverley, Queens Park, Moore Park.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Coaching a variety of teams from U6s to U18s.
- Divide player groups on training days and organise the coaching staff.
- Supervise and implement EFC training programs with our Technical Director.
- Continue internal coaching pathways and mentor young coaches.
- Coordinating coaching roster.
- Grade players year round, and help with the formation of teams.
- Assist the Operations Manager with relevant administrative duties.
- Oversee inventory and vehicles.
- Field set up and gear allocation.
- Managing club programs at various locations.
Key Competencies:
- 5+ year experience coaching in football.
- Strong communication skills with both children and adults.
- Organisational and management skills.
- Good knowledge of English (spoken and written).
- Good knowledge of Google Suite/Microsoft Office.
- Working with Children Check
- Valid NSW Drivers License.
