The Rugby Union Players’ Association (RUPA) was incorporated in October 1995 in direct response to the professionalism of rugby and was established to represent and support the interests of its members, the professional rugby players of Australia, and the game more broadly.
Our membership comprises players from the Wallabies, the Wallaroos, NSW Waratahs, Queensland Reds, ACT Brumbies, Western Force, the National Men’s & Women’s Rugby Sevens squads, and the Super W teams along with past professional players since 1996.
The PDM - Queensland Reds is responsible for the delivery of the Player Development Program within the Queensland Reds program based at Herston, QLD.
This involves the delivery of the following strategies to eligible players achieving performance benchmarks for each key area:
- Career and education planning
- Wellbeing
- Financial Management
- Cultural Awareness
- Personal Toolkit
- Integrity & Obligations
- Family Program
