About the Position:
NSWRL is seeking applications for the position of Football Projects Officer within our Football Department.
This position will be integral to the provision of administrative support within our Football Projects team with an emphasis on supporting football and high performance competition and campaign events. These competitions and campaigns include but are not limited to Major Competitions finals series, Nations of Origin, Blues Tag, Country v City and U/19 State of Origin.
Major responsibilities include:
- Assisting the Football Projects Coordinator with football and high performance competition and campaign events.
- Leading the planning and delivery of football competition and campaign events.
- Provision of general administrative support including preparing agendas and minutes for project meetings.
- Developing and implementing project plans.
- Assistance with gear ordering.
About You:
The successful candidate will have:
- An undergraduate degree in Business, Sport Business or relevant experience.
- Experience in administration and project / event delivery.
- Highly developed written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated stakeholder management skills.
- Strong time management skills with experience working within a deadline driven environment.
- Sound knowledge and understanding of Rugby League.
Consistent with the nature of the sporting industry, the successful candidate must be flexible and willing to work weekends, evenings and reasonable additional hours as is required to fulfil the requirements of this position. Remuneration is set in recognition of this requirement.
