Radford College is actively seeking dynamic and passionate individuals to join our 2025 Winter Sports program. We have multiple part-time, fixed-term coaching positions available for basketball, football, netball, rugby and K-2 Fundamental Movement Skills (FMS) programs. The Opportunity
At Radford Sport, our primary focus is on empowering students and offering holistic support throughout their sports and physical activity journey. We advocate for enjoyment, active participation, and healthy competition, offering a diverse range of pathways for student-athletes at all skill levels and age groups, spanning from Years 2 to 12.
About the Role
All coaching roles within Radford Sports are part-time, fixed-term positions that come with competitive remuneration and additional benefits. We are currently seeking multiple coaches for the upcoming winter seasons in basketball, football, netball, rugby and K-2 FMS. Successful candidates will commence their roles in Term 1, and each season will conclude in Term 3 2025 (dependent on the sport).
Typically, training sessions are scheduled after school between 3:30 PM and 7:00 PM, while games are played on Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays, depending on the specific sport, age group, and division.

Required Certifications:
Highly Desired Skills, Characteristics and Qualifications:
- Highly developed knowledge and understanding of the sport
- Relevant coaching accreditations or a strong desire to obtain them
- Demonstrated success in planning and implementing age-appropriate training sessions and player management
- Proven experience in building relationships to influence and work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including students, staff, and parents
- A willingness to learn school and coaching systems (E.g. Clipboard – Radford College’s extracurricular management system)
- An enthusiastic and energetic approach to coaching, with a readiness to grow and accept feedback through the sharing of best practices and professional experience
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as excellent time management skills
