About the Role
The Membership & Ticketing Manager plays a critical role in driving member engagement, ticketing, and match-day services. Reporting to the Head of Membership & Ticketing, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, optimizing membership sales, and managing membership-related events, promotions, and ticketing functions.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Sales:
- Deliver a high standard of service to members, potential members, and supporters.
- Actively promote membership sales through inbound/outbound calls, match days, and events.
- Manage administrative tasks such as processing payments and balancing receipts.
Membership CRM & Data:
- Oversee membership CRM functionality to ensure data quality.
- Manage renewal processes, including preparing and distributing renewal data.
Sales Strategy & Performance:
- Assist in the development and implementation of membership acquisition and retention strategies.
- Track membership KPIs and report on sales performance.
- Collaborate with teams to drive membership programs, events, loyalty initiatives, and match day promotions.
Ticketing Management:
- Coordinate ticketing strategy and liaise with vendors for event setup, seat inventory, and membership allocations.
- Oversee barcode management for A-League home and away games, including finals series.
Leadership:
- Model and cultivate Melbourne Victory’s values, fostering a supportive and empowering environment.
- Oversee and support the Membership Team Leader and Membership Sales & Services team.
About you
- Degree in Sports Administration, Business, or related field (desirable).
- 2+ years of experience in a ticketing management role within the sports industry.
- Demonstrated experience in fulfilment reporting.
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office and Aspect Ticketing system.
- Experience with EngageRM or similar.
- Strong communication skills with exceptional customer service skills.
