Key responsibilities:
The WynSwim Coordinator - Learn to Swim plays a pivotal role in overseeing the coordination and management of the Learn to Swim Program and its staff within the WynSwim team.
- Assist the Aquatics & Community Participation Manager in strategy development and delivery to enhance program effectiveness
- Lead the Swim School Leader and Swim Teacher teams to deliver high-quality WynSwim LTS Programs
- Manage rostering and timesheets for WynSwim LTS Programs
- Maintain and develop the WynSwim LTS program to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of swim instructors and provide ongoing feedback and support
- Maintain accurate records of swim school enrolment, attendance, and progress
- Respond to enquiries and resolve concerns from parents, students, and staff in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborate with other departments to promote the swim school program and expand its reach within the community
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Experience of at least 12 months in Learn to Swim leadership or Leisure Facilities
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities
- Ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders
- Proficiency in relevant software and administrative tasks
- Commitment to continuous improvement and customer satisfaction
- Current Swimming and Water Safety Teacher
- Current Pool Lifeguard (or willingness to obtain)
- Specialised Swim Teacher electives (desirable)
- Provide First Aid Certificate
- CPR Certificate
- Current Police Records Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Working with Children’s Check – Employee (Victorian) (or willingness to obtain)
