The 'Old Carey Grammarians Football Club' is seeking a Head Sports Trainer for the 2025 Season. Based out of the Carey Sports Complex in Bulleen, OCGFC has worked hard to establish a positive culture driven by a committed playing group and hardworking committee.
The Head Sports Trainer will manage our Medical Budget, Schedule Resources and work closely with an experienced team of qualified trainers to help our players recover, rehabilitate and prepare for match days. The successful applicant will be well supported by the club, including a thorough handover from our outgoing Head Trainer and mentoring from our Club Physiotherapist.
KEY CRITERIA:
Ideal background - Allied Health Student (eg: Physio / Osteo / Chiro 2nd year +)
Sports Trainer accreditation(s)
Capacity to operate the Medical Supplies Budget & Schedule Resources.
Collaborate with Club Physio on the Professional Development of our Sports Trainers.
Ability to work with Head Senior Coach(s) & Club Officials.

Our Medical Support Program runs from Preseason (Late- November) through to the conclusion of the season (September) peaking during the winter months.
