 Job Description

Our Match Coverage team is the vital link between what happens on the court and our legions of fans who we educate and inform across our digital channels.

Responsibilities include:

    • Facebook
    • X
    • TikTok
    • Instagram

Desired Skills and Experience

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, we are seeking the following:

  • Strong alignment to our DNA - Belong, Be Bold, Be Your Best is essential
  • Passion for media and content, and a keen interest in sport (particularly netball, of course!)
  • Ability to work autonomously and have confidence in your decision making and writing skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with great communication
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Good understanding of social media
  • Creative flare and ability to produce your own content ideas
  • Ability to manage multiple requirements and priorities at once
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow a plan
  • Prior voluntary, work experience or similar within the sports industry would be highly regarded
  • This is weekend work, and full availability to cover the SSN matches across Saturdays and Sundays during the home and away season in 2025 is essential
  • Current journalism or media & communications studies would be highly desirable, but not essential - if you’ve got some creative flare and are good with your words, we'd love to hear from you!

If this sounds like you, and we hope it does – please submit your CV and Cover Letter, ensuring it articulates your ability to meet the criteria above, and what you could bring to the role that would make you stand out as the preferred candidate.

We shortlist and interview great candidates as soon as they are identified so, please do not delay your application should you wish to be considered. We do not take for granted the high volume of excellent applications we receive, but please be aware this means we are only able to contact shortlisted candidates.
