Job Description

This role is pivotal in assisting the operational planning and delivery of the Suncorp Super Netball League in 2025 and will be offered on a full-time, fixed term basis, through to 29 August 2025. The successful candidate will be predominately based out of our offices in vibrant Fitzroy, with a possibility of some travel required.

Reporting to an experienced SSN Competitions Manager, responsibilities will include: 

• Assist in the delivery of the key operational objectives of SSN in line with the SSN Strategy
• Assist in the development, execution and monitoring of all league documentation
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships across SSN Teams, internal NA departments and stakeholders
• Manage a portfolio of SSN Teams and service providers providing guidance, support and direction to ensure effective performance and alignment to objectives
• Proactive management of weekly SSN Operational tasks and internal reporting
• Be a good leader amongst team members and across the business
• Be agile and adaptive within a continually evolving event schedule and portfolio 

The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience:

• Demonstrated alignment with NA Values 
• A tertiary qualification in a related discipline and/or experience in a sporting industry 
• Previous experience in the delivery of operational objectives
• Demonstrated understanding of the fan experience
• An ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with a diverse and complex range of stakeholders 
• A professional and personable approach in all dealings 
• Ability to work collaboratively 
• A passion for sport at all levels, a knowledge of Netball is desirable
• Demonstrate a growth mindset
