Description

The QRL Statewide Competitions are seeking keen individuals who love a challenge and are exceptional multi-taskers to apply for the QRL Ground Manager or QRL Interchange Official (or both) positions. Appointments are all on weekends depending on home ground this could be Saturday or Sunday.

The QRL Ground Manager will perform as the central game day resource and will be required to hold a variety of responsibilities. The preferred applicant will;

  • Be confident in coordinating and instructing team staff and players
  • Have experience using an iPad (this will be used to compliance check, confirm squads and enter scoring data)
  • Ability to work in high pressured situations and maintain a level head
  • Excellent communication skills and be enthusiastic
  • Fast learner with an understanding or willing to learn Rugby League game day policy and procedures
  • Be willing to commit to all education and upskilling sessions

The QRL Interchange Official will perform as the bench coordinator in assistance to the QRL Ground Manager and will facilitate all interchanges. The preferred applicant will;

  • Be physically able to pace up and down the field to usher players on and off the field to perform an interchange
  • Have experience using an iPad (this will be used to confirm squads and enter interchange data)
  • Ability to work in high pressured situations and maintain a level head
  • Excellent communication skills and be enthusiastic
  • Fast learner with an understanding or willing to learn Rugby League game day policy and procedures
  • Be willing to commit to all education and upskilling sessions

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • Be able to commit to one to five games on an average game day and align schedule to be available for all required matches
  • Current Citizenship in Australia (excludes PNG)
  • Must hold or be eligible to obtain a blue card

This is a casual position based in the Wide Bay area and you will be remunerated for each game.
