Caboolture Touch Association (CTA) is part of the award-winning Caboolture Sports Club Group, and is renowned for its passion, excellence and commitment to the game. We are seeking a casual Game Day Coordinator to assist with the set up and running of the Associations weekly fixtures and other associated competitions.
The nature of the community sports industry dictates that work hours are often evenings and/or weekends.
This is a hands-on role, that requires some knowledge and understanding of the sport of Touch Football. The position requires an agile approach to ensure the smooth delivery of the Associations competition to its members.
An indication of the key responsibilities:
Strong focus on delivering the Associations competition and other associated events ensuring the needs of members are met
Coordinate the set up of fields for each night of fixtures as required
Ensure the Petersen Road Sports Complex is kept in a clean and tidy state prior to each night of fixtures/event
Assist with player registrations where required using the MySideline system
Support Administrators with reports for players, as needed
All associated tasks required to ensure games and events run smoothly
Other reasonable duties, as required including working in the canteen as needed
Skills and Experience:
Ability to work in a team environment
Strong customer service skills
Approachable with good verbal and written communication skills
Solid understanding of the sport and associated activities of Touch Football
Have a general interest in the sport of Touch Football
Qualifications:
Ability to hold and maintain a Blue Card
Current First Aid and/or CPR accreditation (desired but not mandatory)
Hold and maintain a current Driving Licence
Ability to hold and maintain a Police Check
Willing to obtain or hold a current RSA
Willing to obtain Food Handlers Certificate
