We are currently looking for Expressions of Interest to be part of the 2025 Netball NSW Premier League Commentary team.
Netball NSW have engaged Sideline Sport as our livestream provider of the Netball NSW Premier League Competition in 2025. Sideline Sport will be livestreaming 5 courts across 2 timeslots on each night of Premier League and in addition to the livestream we will be engaging commentators for each match.
Alongside our regular commentator Brittany Carter who will commentate the feature match on Show Court each week, we are recruiting commentators looking for the opportunity to provide commentary on the 4 adjoining courts, and would like to provide you this opportunity.
This is an entry level position to commentary and although an opportunity for those starting out on their Sport commentating journey, commentary will be reviewed each week ensuring that the commentary is of an acceptable level as required.
Commentators will be offered a nominal fee of $40.00 per night, with a night including the commentary of a match in each timeslot, being 7:00pm and 8:45pm.
Initially we would like to allocate commentators to rounds 1-4 of Premier League, with the first 4 rounds outlined below. Each night you will need to be available for both the 7:00pm and the 8:45pm timeslot to commentate both matches taking place on the allocated court:
- Round 1 - Wednesday, 12th March 2025
- Round 2 - Wednesday, 19th March 2025
- Round 3 - Wednesday, 26th March 2025
- Round 4 - Wednesday, 2nd April 2025
Time constraints leading into week one will mean that limited training will be available. Team Lists can be sent to the allocated commentators for round 1 and we would ask that you make yourselves available at Netball Central from 6pm. A briefing will be provided from Sideline Sport and Brittany Carter in the commentary space from this time.
