Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA) is the nation’s leading voice on exercise and sports science. We govern and represent approximately 10,000 degree-qualified accredited exercise professionals who support Australians to reach their health and performance goals.
At ESSA, you’ll join a team dedicated to supporting our members and the communities they serve. Together you’ll have the opportunity to demonstrate your passion and expertise to make a positive impact on the work of accredited exercise professionals.
You will work with all ESSA business units to manage the graphic design of ESSA assets across digital and print channels to support projects, events, campaigns and internal activities.
You will support the overall objectives of the ESSA Marketing & Communications team to grow the brand and awareness of our health professional members through the content you create.
Your competitive edge will include
- At least three years of professional experience in graphic design or similar
- Demonstrated skills in Adobe Creative Suite - Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro and After Effects
- Strong understanding of design formats and trends for platforms like TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and website
- Experience in basic animation including gif and HTML5 animation highly regarded
- UX/UI experience in websites/app development highly regarded
- Exceptional copywriting, storytelling and creative skills with strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated experience developing assets for digital and print channels including web, social and marketing collateral
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Previous experience using Monday Work Management or similar (desirable)
