The Opportunity
Our Membership & Customer Sales & Services Officers deliver operational excellence to all members, customers and stakeholders through Membership, Ticketing and Customer Services.
Key Accountabilities
- Deliver a consistent and high level of service to all members, customers and stakeholders.
- Fulfil membership sales and customer enquiries through all sales channels, including inbound and outbound communication.
- Achieve daily KPI’s through sales channels to reach overall Membership targets.
- Data processing of membership renewals, new applications, membership cards and any other membership or ticketing requirements.
- Answer inbound communication in a timely and pleasant manner, capturing and recording the premise of each contact.
- Source and capture all individual prospect details and ensure they receive prompt follow up information.
- Follow all Club policies and procedures for Membership, Ticketing & Customer Operations.
- Participate in membership campaigns that identify customer needs, up-sell products, retain existing and acquire new members.
- Ensure data accuracy and management activities.
- Deliver membership sales, acquisition and retention campaigns.
- Assist with reception duties as required.
- Assist with members events, including Melbourne Cup Carnival and other race days throughout the season.
About You
You have experience in a membership or customer service role working with CRM databases. You have excellent communication skills with a level of problem-solving skills and resilience. With demonstrated relationship building skills you are patient, empathetic and provide an excellent level of service whilst taking ownership and accountability for your work.
With exceptional time management, a “can-do” attitude and strong organisational skills you are a proactive team player who provides feedback and shows initiative.
You are flexible and responsive to change and especially enjoy having fun while you work, and you look forward to the challenge of being a part of an organisation that remains proud of its brand and history while it takes an increasingly innovative approach to being a leader in world-class racing and experiences.
