The AusTriathlon High Performance Program has launched its ambitious 2032+ Strategy, driven by our Vision: “Extraordinary Performances and People Inspiring the Nation.” This strategy aims to elevate Australian Triathlon back onto the global stage, ensuring even better support to our athletes and coaches, with a renewed focus as we strive to win, and win well in LA2028 and importantly, Brisbane 2032.

Underpinning the ambitious performance targets of the program, is a win well culture and the holistic development of our athletes.  Supporting athletes to thrive in a high performing environment by managing their sporting endeavours as well as their personal and professional goals is paramount to the success of the high performance program.  AusTriathlon is committed to cultivating a high-performance culture, where athletes with winning aspirations train, grow and strive to accomplish ambitious goals together.

Reporting to the Performance Manager - Academy, with an indirect reporting line to the High Performance Director, we seek an experienced and passionate Wellbeing and Engagement Lead to establish and maintain highly entrusted and impactful relationships with athletes and coaches to support their development as performers and individuals.

You’ll leverage your experience in working within highly skilled and collaborative performance team to build a high-performance environment that fully unlocks the potential of everyone involved.

This is a unique opportunity to work within a contemporary high performing environment, making a direct impact on our performance goals for LA 2028 and Brisbane 2032.

Essential Requirements

  • Working with Children / Working with Vulnerable People Check
  • Drivers Licence
  • Contemporary experience (min. 3 years) working as AW&E (or similar) practitioner
  • Tertiary qualifications and/or industry certification in a relevant field (e.g., career development, elite athlete wellbeing, social work, education, counselling)
