Wesley College Melbourne, a school of the Uniting Church, established in 1866, is one of Australia's leading and most respected co-educational independent schools. We have an opportunity for a Girls First Soccer Coach to work with the Head Coach - Soccer to provide specialist coaching services and development activities to improve and develop the Wesley College Soccer program. This is a fixed term part time position starting 1 April 2025 to 31 August 2025 for 10 hours per week.
The ideal candidate is responsible for the coaching and leadership of all students aspiring to play at the highest level of soccer in the College. They will be involved in all aspects of the game from a technical, tactical, and competitive perspective. They will also support the Head Coach in providing coaching leadership to the College’s other soccer coaches.
The Girls First Soccer Coach will understand the needs of athletes, contribute to a positive team environment with a personal commitment to excellence and the ability to positively influence and inspire others. It is expected that the Girls First Soccer Coach attends all training sessions (weekdays, weekends, holidays), designated games and camps, meetings, professional development and any other Wesley College soccer activities and functions.
Applicants should have national accreditation, soccer experience as a coach or manager, and coaching experience at a high level.
